About the Craftsman

My name is Noel Thomason, and my wife Katrena of over 22 years is the love of my life.  I truly love to work with my hands. In the Fall of 2019, after hours of YouTube and reading, I decided to finally try my hand at leather craft.  I had been wanting to try leather-crafting for several years and just never really got around to doing it until recently.  I am a teacher and had been encouraging my students to make the most of the COVID shutdown and complete a goal or two. I thought it best to lead by example and check this one off my list.  The recent COVID-19 pandemic was the perfect opportunity to hone my skills and spend time learning how to make different items.

Katrena and I have two daughters. This is where the company gets its name. Our first daughter, Kingsley, was born in 2001, and my second daughter, Elise, was born in 2006. They are my primary focus and have taught me so very much about life.

I have always considered myself a craftsman of sorts. After years of military service in the army, I started a class A contracting business, and for years I used my company as an opportunity to teach many young men the building trades. In 2009, I went back to college using my GI Bill.  Working with and mentoring the young guys that worked for me inspired me to become a teacher. The next five years were really difficult.  I worked and ran my company during the day, and did school work at night.  I finally finished my Masters degree in December of 2014.  I began my first teaching job in August of 2014 at StoneBridge School where both my daughters attended school.  Kingsley was in the 8th grade, and Elise in the 3rd grade.

I am finishing up my sixth year of teaching at StoneBridge School. I have always worked with my hands and need to do something creative, and leather craft is such a great fit. I have fallen in love with working with leather.  I needed to do something fun in my down time that would allow me to get up from the desk and use my creativity, so here I am making leather bags and paying more attention to lady's handbags than any man ever should. I can honestly tell you that it is a great joy to make you any item you purchase from me. I am so very thankful for you supporting me and my daughters. Kingsley is now attending the University of Richmond and every dollar helps. I never take for granted every dollar you are spending, and it is my joy to be able to create for you. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity!

Thanks for your support! It means a lot to me and our family.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
